What Is Your Soul’s Purpose?

Have you ever asked the age-old question, “Why am I here?”  Have you ever felt that you were put here on this earth for a specific purpose, but just can't quite figure out what that purpose is?  As you start to awaken to the realization and recognition of your connection with spirit, you begin to desire and become more open to a need for a deeper communion with spirit.  This birthing calls forth thoughts, emotions and a new level of consciousness accompanied by a compelling drive to experience a direct connection with the Divine.  This often brings forth a new and/or renewed interest in many different types of spiritual pursuits as we seek to answer the many questions that arise from our heart center and in our urgent need to fill the growing hunger for greater spiritual fulfillment.

Wisdom Teacher Sri Ram Kaa and Angelic Oracle Kira Raa explain it this way: 

“We believe that all souls on the earth are here to grow into God-consciousness. What is the “Soul”?

Some would say that a discussion regarding “Your Soul’s Purpose,” would not be complete without clarifying what we mean when we say Soul.  I’ll start by saying that your Soul is the part of you that is neither your body or your ego.  It is the essence of who and what you are, the part that lives on when your body expires.  It is your Divinity, your Authentic Self, the portion of you that is a piece of The Creator, Source, God/Goddess, All That Is.  It is YOU!  YOU are not your body.  YOU are not your ego.  YOU are a Divine Being having a human experience. 

Some may reject the following assertion, on the grounds that it is offensive, blasphemous, sacrilegious or other such terms.  I say simply that if we truly accept that we are children of the Divine or made in his/her image, then at a minimum, we possess at birth many of the characteristics and abilities of our parent.  Or, have the potential to possess, upon reaching maturity, many, if not all, of the same or similar abilities as our parent.  It just makes sense to accept that if we are the children of the Divine, the we too are Divine and in possession of all the inherent qualities of Divinity. 

My belief may not be yours.  However, just for the sake of argument, what if, what if my belief was true.  If you accepted that you are indeed a powerful Divine co-creator.  What would it mean in a very real, day-to-day, moment-to-moment, kind of way?  How might your life, your world, your very existence change?  Think about what it would mean if you could change your current circumstances, worldwide conditions, eliminate war, hunger, disease, poverty, suffering, just by choosing to do so.  The implications, ramifications and possibilities are virtually limitless.
